Standard Capacity vs. High Capacity Pleated Filters

High capacity filters deliver 30-40% more filter media at only13-16% more cost, on average, as shown on the chart below. The additional media results in extended filter life, fewer filter changes, and enhanced structural integrity. You also run less risk of an over-loaded filter creating stress on the motors and blowers in your mechanical systems. If you closely monitor the condition of your air filters, then high capacity may be the right choice for you. On the other hand, if you change your air filters on a regular schedule, then standard capacity may offer the best value.
