Company History In 1966 John N. Manhart bought Nebraska Air Filter, a company originating in 1940 as Nebraska Coal Company. From its meager beginnings, John has brought the company to the forefront of the air filtration industry in the Great Plains. In 1968 John found it imperative to refrain from representing the claims and prices of any one filter manufacturer. In representing many filter manufacturers as an independent distributor, Nebraska Air Filter, Inc. is able to keep prices affordable while providing quality service to our customer in the Midwest as well as across the nation. Alongside Air Filter Sales and Service, Inc., based in Cedar Rapids, IA, with offices in Des Moines and Davenport, Nebraska Air Filter, Inc. has provided filtration sales and services of every type and purpose to a wide variety of commercial and industrial businesses across Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, and parts of Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, North Dakota.
